What is the exam pattern?
TOEFL has two modes, IBT and PBT, where you can choose any of them and give your test.
Internet-Based Test: IBT is an internet-based test where you will be giving the test online. It tests the reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills of a student. The total time given for an internet-based test is 4 hours with each section being divided into a certain time.

Paper-Based Test: PBT is a paper and pen-based test. It is no different from the online test. Few changes are there in this model. It also tests the LSRW skills of a student. The total time of this exam is 4 hrs.

How do we score in TOEFL?
All four sections in IBT are measured on a scale of 0–30. The total test score Is 120 in IBT. A score of 84 to 114 is considered to be a great score. In PBT the score is measured differently for every section. Each section is measured on a scale of 31–68. But the writing section is separately measured on a scale of 0–5. You will be receiving the score within 5 weeks of your exam.

What is the fee for the TOEFL?
For IBT the fee is around 160 to 250 USD. IBT fees depend upon the region you write the exam. Whereas the PBT charge is 180 USD worldwide.
Can we retake the examination?
Yes, you can retake the test. There has to be a 12-day gap between your previous test.
